We were intrigued when we first heard that Maserati was considering to pull an MC-12 again, and launch a car based on the flagship Ferrari model, the Geneva showstopper – LaFerrari . We were even more surprised when we learnt that it was going to ditch the complicated and heavy hybrid system, and go for a more holistic approach to building a hypercar.
