It’s nice to see that automakers don’t have a dictated policy when it comes to what sort commercial their hired ad men have the freedom to produce. This means the quality of commercials varies, and some are very bad, while others are well-executed enough for their quirky takes to be easily digestible by most.
Take the Brazilian advertisement for the Peugeot 208 , for instance, which teleports the characters and vehicles from Hanna-Barbera’s classic Wacky Races cartoon into the modern age and has the French hatchback battle it out with them around a few city blocks.
