If you've set a mark on your calendar for January 13-14 (the press days), and/or January 13 to 26 if you're actually planning to attend, then you'll be interested to know that the 2014 Detroit Auto Show officials have released a preliminary list with the world and North American premieres.
From the cars listed on the initial list, those that caught our attention are the Cadillac ATS Coupe, Porsche 911 Targa, the two Volkswagen Concept cars and the Toyota study. It's not that we hadn't heard or told you about most of these cars, but now, it's official.
The rumor-mill has it that the Toyota concept will be a sports coupe hinting at a Supra replacement. As for the unnamed cars in the list, the Audi study is a compact crossover, the Hyundai production car is the new Genesis, the Lexus is the RC F Coupe, the Kia is a 2+2 Coupe Concept, while we don't know details yet about VW's two studies.
According to NAIAS (North American International Auto Show – the official name of the event), "more intros are planned, but have not been publicly announced by auto manufacturers," so stay tuned for updates in the coming days and weeks.
