Some of the best automotive-themed videos one can find online I think are those portraying the very passionate people that build their own vehicle, either based on something already existing or all-new and from scratch.
That’s basically the story of Joey Ruiter, a product designer based in Michigan who does genuinely seem to have a pretty good idea about where the industry as a whole is heading and exactly why he doesn’t want to be a part of it or promote its values.
He took the long road to pleasing himself with a custom vehicle that really defines the term. Dubbed the Reboot Buggy , it’s the squarest vehicle you’ve ever seen, but the simple shape does in no way detract from the appeal it has.
It’s a street-legal machine with under 500 hp, and its nature will make the experience of having it valet parked an interesting one, and different every time.
