While there could be some substance behind the idea of an off-road-ready Mazda MX-5, I picture that as more of an old Group B rally car conversion than anything else.
It certainly doesn’t conjure up images of a crossover-ized MX-5 with plastic cladding and no roll cage, although the former can stay as long as it accommodates ridiculously wide wheels...
