The Hyundai Ioniq 6 will soon launch in the UK and initially arrive in special ‘First Edition’ guise.
A number of distinctive design elements make the First Edition stand out from the regular Ioniq 6. For example, it is equipped with 20-inch wheels complete with a matte black finish, gloss black mouldings on the front, sides, and rear, and gloss black wing mirror caps.
Four exterior colors will be available, dubbed Biophillic Blue Pearl, Serenity White Pearl, Nocturne Grey Metallic, and Gravity Gold Matte.

The unique touches applied to the Ioniq 6 First Edition continue into the cabin and include a black interior with a black headliner. The seats are also clad in a special Grey Tartan fabric inspired by the Hyundai Propechy EV concept. Unique floor mats with Grey Tartan highlights are also featured.
Hyundai Motor UK says the Ioniq 6 will be sold in “limited” numbers but hasn’t specified just how many will be produced. What we do know is that reservations will open on November 9 and that customers will need to pay £54,995 ($63,875) for the EV.
“IONIQ 6 has already received an overwhelmingly positive response from customers and media alike with its combination of streamliner styling and long-distance EV performance,” Hyundai Motor UK managing director Ashley Andrew said. “The IONIQ 6 First Edition presents customers with not only a unique specification but also an opportunity to secure one of the very first vehicles to reach the UK.”
The Hyundai Ioniq 6 will also be sold in Premium and Ultimate guises in the UK but details and prices for these models have yet to be announced.
The Ioniq 6 First Edition comes equipped with a 77.4 kWh battery pack driving a pair of electric motors pumping out a combined 320 hp and 446 lb-ft (605 Nm) of torque. The car’s E-GMP platform has an 800-volt architecture that supports 350 kW charging.
