If you're looking to get yourself inside a more bespoke BMW X6M and don't want to bother with the brand's Individual division, the Bavarians have just announced the launch of a new limited production version of the high-powered crossover named X6 M Design Edition, of which only 100 examples will leave its factory in South Carolina.
The individualization concerns the aesthetics and aerodynamic properties of the X6 M beginning on the outside with the black kidney grilles and mirror caps, carbon fiber front lip and boot spoilers, black rear diffuser, 21-inch alloy wheels and optionally, the "M" sub-brand's traditional stripes on the bonnet and fender edge, bumper corners and profile.
The car can be had in three colors, named Alpine White, Sapphire Black or Melbourne Red metallic.
Inside, the special edition comes dressed in full Merino leather, including a bi-color instrument panel in Black/Mugello Red with Mugello Red contrast stitching, and individual interior trim in Piano Black with an edition-specific badge.
The X6 M's standard powertrain with a 4.4-liter bi-turbocharged V8 with 547hp (555PS) paired to a six-speed M Sport automatic transmission and xDrive all-wheel drive remains untouched. Pricing is to be announced.
