If Mercedes-Benz can pull it off with the classic G-Wagen for more than three decades now, then why can't Land Rover do the same with its Defender 4x4 marketing it as a premium offering with a price tag to match?
We're sure many of you can answer that question in a lot of different ways (agreeing or disagreeing), and while Land Rover itself has opted to start from a clean sheet of paper for the Defender's replacement , German tuning firm Startech is proposing a luxury upgrade for the current three-door 90 model , which it will present in a world premiere at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) .
