The Ford Mondeo is quite an institution in Europe, even more so in the United Kingdom, where the term “Mondeo man”, coined by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, designates a significant part of the country’s middle class.
Launched in 1993 as a replacement for the Sierra , the Mondeo has enjoyed so far a successful career, racking up 4.5 million sales in Europe over 20 years and three generations.
