Nissan is thoroughly chuffed with itself after having come up with the Qashqai crossover , a model that has proved immensely popular in diverse markets around the world, but particularly in Europe and Russia, selling in excess of two million units world-wide. The Qashqai, along with the smaller Juke crossover , have been pushing the manufacturer’s sales up, as crossovers have the tendency to do in the current state of the market.
Now, they have released the first teaser of what is to become the next-gen Qashqai . It’s completely covered, though, as is the trend nowadays. They have LED-lit features shining through the veil, hinting at the distinctly Rogue-esque headlight and grille shape. What Nissan have done here is basically shown us exactly what it will look like, without actually showing us what it looks like…
That’s not really a problem, though, because in 10 days’ time, it will be unveiled in an official manner (November 7, 2013).
Bold claims are being made about it, like it being the “most significant car in its modern history – a model that will redefine the crossover sector and set new standards across the board.” Among its many innovations, they noted the “advanced aerodynamics” and “state of the art cabin infotainment systems .”
