The success of B-segment or sub-compact crossover models like the Nissan Juke and GM's trio of CUVs, the Opel / Vauxhall Mokka , Buick Encore and Chevrolet Trax , is forcing other automakers to take notice and prepare their responses.
At next month's Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany, Kia will introduce an as-of-yet unnamed concept, which it says, will be a "playful but gutsy, sturdy yet impish" study hinting "at a possible future B-segment contender ready to take on the urban environment with style and tenacity".
