The Chrysler Group is paying homage to the Rumble Bee Ram pickup truck on its tenth anniversary with a new concept study at the annual Woodward Dream Cruise that takes place today in Detroit.
Just like the original production model, the Ram study is inspired by the Super Bee muscle car of the late 1960s – early 1970s with a flashy two-tone yellow and black color theme inside and out.
Based on a 2013 Ram 1500 R/T , the two-wheel drive model sports a bespoke “Drone Yellow” matte finish swathed in gloss black highlights and stripes, with other touches including the Mopar ground effects kit and 24-inch wheels.
Inside, Ram's designers opted for black and Drone Yellow leather sport mesh seats with two-tone yellow/light-grey stitching, adding “Rumble Bee” lettering and Ram logos on the seats, floor mats and door bolsters.
