Following last year’s reveal of the Continental GT3 Concept Racer at the Paris auto show, Bentley has now presented the final version of the car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The Continental GT3 is powered by a race-tuned version of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, developing up to 600 hp in unrestricted race configuration. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Xtrac six-speed sequential gearbox with a limited slip differential, mounted as a transaxle for optimised weight distribution. Gear changes are completed via a pneumatic shift system, controlled by paddles mounted to the steering wheel.
